Miguel Amezcua (aka Prime) is a filmmaker and founder of Cult. Media TV, born in Michoacán, Mexico with deep roots in both Michoacán and Jalisco. Raised in South Central Los Angeles, Miguel grew up immersed in Jalisco traditions passed down by his mother and grandparents. He’s directed music videos, interviews, and short films, collaborating with icons like Jose “Conejo” Martin, Cheech and Chong, Snow Tha Product, and director Jeff “Echo” Reyes. He also worked with David Ayer on The Tax Collector and has contributed to projects for BET, Vice’s Noisey series, and Dash Radio. Through Cult. Media TV, he blends street culture with authentic representation, helping shape a new wave of Latino creators.
